Yes, yes I did.
Here's my virtual pinch. I signed the offer letter on Wednesday, Oct. 3rd and my first day at the new gig in Houston, Texas is Nov. 12th. Woah.
The sorrow I feel about leaving Boston is hard to even think about, let alone talk/write about. It will be verrrry different. It will be hard. It will be good.
Looking back on my last entry in 2006 - the year I moved to Boston, lost my Mom and experienced more new life than ever before - is a reminder that God is with me now, will carry me through this month of goodbyes and into this new chapter in a city I don't yet know.
One hour at a time until I can handle one day at a time...
